Favorite Picture Book - Reflection

 

📖 My favorite picture books were these comic books by Raina Telgemeier. I loved that they were comic books, therefore the passages weren't long and they had pictures! I enjoyed reading these books because Raina, the main character, had a lot of experiences that I could relate to as a young girl. One of the main reasons why I related to Raina was that she had a young sister named Amara, who was very annoying and was always messing with Raina. Throughout the collection of books, Raina grows a relationship with Amara and goes from hating her to loving her and becoming best friends. I related to Raina, because as a big sister I had 5 little annoying siblings who always seemed to crash my fun life but as I grew up, I realized they were all my best friends, and now I miss them so much!
