Poetry
Poetry is a type of literature that uses specific patterns, rhythms, structures, and/or rhymes to express ideas and emotions.
Examples of poetry for Elementary Students:
- Dreams by Langston Hughes
- The Rose That Grew from Concrete by Tupac Shakur
- Daniel finds a Poem by Micha Archer
- Tan to Tamarind by Malathi Michelle Iyengarn
At first I thought that these were your poems. :-) You should try your hand at putting some of your thoughts into poetry. It might alleviate some of the stressors.
